frankie_v, hey i just recently bought an HP and it comes with a dvd+r burner 300n i think but i've got the same problem! xept mine doesnt burn when u put the disc back in - i get:
"optimum laser power calibration failed
driver error code = 02037303h" whenever i use dvdxcopy 1.5.2. any suggestions anyone? i'd really appreciate it. thanks! :-)

When i was using Fuji and Memorex DVD+r's i did have that problem half the time when that message of failure came up.Now i'm using Ritek and it's been 100% even with the "laser power calibration failure" message.Maybe try that.Fast delivery for me with meritline as opposed to another that will remain nameless.Just one thought but still no answer to how that main problem could be fixed.

hey i figured it out - i think ... well no answer to the optical laser error thing but i can copy again! :-) all i had to do was disable the norton autoprotect which had already been installed on my computer - found that in another thread ... for wxc 1.4.something but yeah ... Yay!
