Hello all,
Using DXC 1.5.2, attempted to copy Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Everything copies correctly. Correct disc 2 start point, menus, etc. Except for at the end of disc 1, it throws in some random footage from a different part of the movie, and immediately after the random footage, it displays the 'Insert Disc 2' splash screen.
Attempted to change the chapter split points. DXC splices in the same random footage each time I change the chapter point.
Scares me now. I figured that mounting the DXC copies to a virtual drive to test correct disc 2 start up points was enough of a precaution to stop coasters, but now I can't be sure if or if not there are other DXC backups I've made with this 'random spliced in footage' at the end of disc 1.
This is just a guess, but I think DXC doesn't like how Star Wars uses different 'wipes' before certain scenes, and this is how it reacts to the dvd. Just a theory, not so sure of how grounded that is, lol.

New movie, The Mummy Returns, does the same thing, except it splices in about 20 minutes of random footage before the end of disc 1. :: Doesn't trust the splits anymore :: : /

ANOTHER movie, Planet of the Apes[Recent Version], mimics Attack of the Clones, random footage at the end of disc 1 before the 'insert disc 2 screen'

Widescreen, Fullscreen, special edition?
If you want help on the forum you're going to have to give as much detail as possible.

It's the NTSC Special Edition. Didn't mention, because it really doesn't matter...There's only one version of the recent Planet of the Apes, and it only contains widescreen format.
It's an error built into the way DXC is reading the titleset, and it does it everytime with this and the other titles I've mentioned, even if you change the chapter split points, and/or start with menu, abandon menu, etc.

This same problem happens on "Tora Tora Tora" at the end of disk 1. Still no resolution to this??
