Problem with burning second disc--Babylon 5

Hi,
I have used DVDXCOPY successfully many times, even when it splits the movie into two discs.
I tried copying Babylon 5 Season 2 Disc 1, and it split it into two discs--ok, no problem. The first disc copied and burnt perfectly---then it asked for the original disc again, put it in and it copied it(took around 30 minutes) then it asked for blank dvd, put same type media in, and then it flew too fast through the burn. I got a box that said the burn failed. As far as I know the DVD is still empty. Itried this whole process again---copied the second disc again and used a different blank dvd....still it would not go through the burn.
Any thoughts? I am using the new TDK DVD+R/W and DVD-R/W drive

DXC will not backup that disc in the set. The rest seem to be ok. You have to use other means to backup it. The way it is authored is different.

Hey Wmacarter, have you been able to backup Babylon 5 Season 2 Disc 1 successfully? If so, would you mind posting it?

but when I burnt the DVD using NERO, will not play in Stand Alone, only in PC using PowerDVD. Any hints would be appreciated. All the rest of my Season 2 disc worked fine. Disc 2-5. No problems at all.

magneto, when I say I burned Season 2 Disc 1 successfully, I mean that DVDXCOPY was going to copy it onto TWO discs, and the FIRST disc of those two burned successfully, but not the entire original Disc 1.

What brand is your settop? What version of Nero are you burning with? I have found v. 5.5.10.7b has the best compatibility with a bigger cross-section of settops.

My settop is the JVC F-80.

DXC 1.5.2 works great! I miss the log screen at the end only. It told the exact time it took to burn, now i have to look it up in the log file and then calculate the time. Picky I am.

From what I hear, Babylon 5 Season 2 Disc 1 is just a problematic DVD to copy.
