I guess I missed it and Im sure its my fault, but my PC has been acting up a bit so I have had to reformat a bunch of times and now that things are running perfectly, Im out of activations for DXC and was asked to spend another $100? Sorry, thats a joke.

Man, I was really getting into this program too, oh well it was fun while it lasted, c ya...

All you have to do is email or call customer support and they will reset your activations for you, as long as your not passing out your info on places like kazaa that is.

nope, Im an honest user. I called support and all the guy said was, "yep, your out of activations, would you like to place another order?" I was like, your kidding, Im not spending another $100 on a program I should still be able to use..

Should I call back and hope to get someone else? I dont want to give up, I love this program, but Im NOT spending another c note. And I guess no one there checks the support email huh? I havent had any responses hence why I called.

I'm serious, ask 321_Q/A. The customer service guy you got was wrong. They will reset your activations for you until the cows come home, as long as it is only you who has been trying to use your info.

The activation issue is simply to prevent people putting DXC and their user number and password on Kazaa for the whole world to use. If 321 gets 30 requests in a day to activate using the same info, they will consider it bootlegged.

As the owner of the software, you are entitiled to as many activations as you want. you DO NOT have to buy another copy.

Be patient with the support staff. 321 is trying very hard to get them all up to speed. Above all, know that you are not SOL. Call back and if you have to ask to speak with a supervisor.

Like Dengar said, unfortunately, the staff at 321 doesn't always know what's been said in the forum by Robert Moore...

As long as you are a legit user, running out of activations won't be a problem. Obviously, when you called you got ahold of someone who doesn't know.

If you call back and get the same response, you might want to ask to speak to a supervisor who might be able to assist.

It's not a problem to add more, and you definitely do not have to purchase the software again!!

We are having problems with our Customer Support department right now, so this does not surprise me at all.. (I'm sorry to say)

To be honest, I can not see 321_Q/A, letting you down, his just not that type of Guy..

You also need to remember this is Memerial Day Weekend. I would noy count on 321_Q/A(Jeff) even going back to work until Tuesday. Also, even if it was not a holiday, Jeff does not work weekends.

This forum is your primary support group. If you have a problem, you are supposed to post here, in the appropriate thread. If you have a problem with DXCX (XPRESS) post it in the XPRESS sticky at the top of the page.

Be complete in describing your problem and your system specs. There are many knowledgeable users here and someone will be able to help you.

You are not supposed tp PM people with questions that can be answered on the forum (ie; "I can't get express working" type questions). Let the forum help you. There is big list of sticky threads at the top of the "Problems And Soluions" Page that you should read. I know its a lot of pages, but by the time you were done you would haved gained so much knowledge about DXC and DXCX and the forum rules that instead of asking questions you would be answering other people's questions.

Now it could be three days until Jeff cmes back to work, so post your problem to us and we'll get it figured out.

Last poster. The problem I have no one here other then the mod can fix it. Unless you can reset my keys to let me install the program please do it :)

I know the rules and have just been waiting for an answer. Ill wait to tuesday then, I have PM'd him twice since like thrus/friday. Ill just wait and get back.

I'm sorry. I thought you meant that 321_Q/A reset your activations but you were having a different problem.

321_Q/A might be back Monday, but I wouldn't hold my breath. When he gets in and checks his mailbox I know one of the first things he'll do is personally reset your activations for you. He will not leave you hangin'.

Hang in there, I know this sucks. And I'm sorry that I misunderstood your earlier post. I'm off to the woodshed to flog myself.

I know for a fact that they will reset your activations. Just be a little patient, they are having problems with their customer service people. The only time they would probably balk at resetting is if you started going through a LARGE number of activations every day, which doesn't sound like your problem at all. 321_Q/A will be your best bet, but he gets overwhelmed with requests and questions at times and might take a few days to respond. Might help if you posted this same problem in the Xpress 2.0 problems, since he seems to check there very often.

Keep us up to date on how you come out.

Yah, hes (321_Q/A) is a cool guy, he already said he would do it, I just didnt know that it would take that long but it ends up the few backups I needed to do have to use Xpress anyways.

Im waiting for his email, hope its soon. Thanks to you all for the help, I really appreciate it.

I've had problems similar to those of others already posted here where DVDX Copy will insert
random footage at the end of disc 1 and/or at
the beginning of disc 2.
