Staples is offering a 10 pack DVD-R or DVD+R for under $10 after $7 rebate. I bought a pack and sucessfully burned 2 so far. However, the downside is the recording speed of 1x. Get them while they last.

I have NEVER recieved any rebate on anything I ever bought from staples, office max or compusa. It's a just big con to get you buy something.

In the past some people have had problems getting their rebates, but recently many more are successful. I can't say that I never received any rebate I've sent in as long as the requirements were met. Now many rebates can be tracked on a website.

Ok, well I am still bugged because I bought a Lite-On DVD-Rom at compusa and I did everything right only to hear them say it was not a covered item, but it was advertised as so. Then it happened again with a CD ROM drive at Office max. I never heard from them at all. I think Office Max is the worst offender. I guess I'm just saying be careful.
BTW, I used to get my DVD media at ESBUY.com, but they wont even sell anything to you unless you have a Yahoo ID. I dont have a Yahoo ID anymore since I locked horns with them over their ad plastered email service, long story about Yahoo thugs at http://www.domesticsoftwareusa.com/yahoosuc.htm
Now I go to shop4tech.com and get pretty good prices there with free shipping.
